My main interest is in African American communities in the U.S., and the transition from slavery to freedom. I *knew* there was something I had to do
This is perfect -- I was just thinking, as I sat down to finish the first of three papers due by the end of the week -- that surely I had forgotten to do something. Something pressing ... something that didn't involve analysis of anthropology's challenges and opportunities re: globalization, scientification and neoliberalism. What was it, what was it?
