P.K. New Student Research Award

The P.K. New Award is awarded to the best paper by a student reporting on an applied research project in the social/behavioral sciences. The winner receives a cash award of $2,000, a Steuben crystal trophy, and travel funds (up to $350) to attend the annual meeting of the SfAA where the Award is given. The 2009 meeting will be held in Santa Fe, NM, March 17-21. The winner of the competition will be honored at a session during the meetings as well as an awards reception.
