About Me:

I teach design anthropology at the University of North Texas, and I was the Director the Online Master's Program 2003-2007. I'm a linguistic anthropologist with experience working in design consulting firms. I'm also interested in gender issues in the lives of anthropologists. I edited NAPA Bulletin 26, which presented the autoethnographies of 11 women practitioners, and I'm heading up a national gender survey on anthropologists.
