I am very passionate about critical medical anthropology and HIV prevention. I love anthropology because we have the ability to tell the stories of those who have been abandoned, forgetten or ignored by society (e.g. sex workers), and with applied anthropology we are able to find solutions to work in collaboration with communities to help with problems.
