I am a cultural anthropologist with a specialization in business and organizational applied anthropology. Just a quick note to preclude atrophy of the tenuous connection we formed last year. My visceral sensors tell me that somehow we should remain to be connected, although in the past few months I had to wrestle with some dragons, not the least of which was serving as a juror in a serial murder case, starting with jury selection on February 9th with the trial ending April 22nd.

We had always had a "global" system within which we traded and mutually benefited, whether our world was just beyond the horizon of our villages, the larger shores of the Mediterranean or the entire world. I tend to believe that what we are now learning is that the forces of globalism also amplify the virus of inherently faulty social/societal designs and ill-conceived methods of dealing with each other as they amplify the most noble characteristics inherent in our species.

I sometimes reflect upon what contributions I can leave behind to merit having passed through the stretch of time I was granted.

My very best to you, Julia

Just came across your profile when I sent a note to melissa zlatow as you had done before. It is interesting that you came from the anthropology side and connected with the organizational/engineering mindsets. I came from the other direction, and here we meet. Had to write to you because very often we pick up pollen as we travel on our path that fertilizes the places we wind up at.

My best
